Paint In Your Pyjamas! - Every Woman's guide to finding your life purpose through Art

A message to you from Cindy

Hi, my name is Cindy Wider and I have been on an incredible journey which I would like to share with you. I was once an overworked mum and business woman, without any time in my life for myself, (I quite literally almost died from overwork!)

I changed my life completely and went on to become a professional gallery represented artist and Art Tutor.

If you'd like to get started on your own journey of self discovery through drawing, painting and art, I'd love to have the opportunity to share what I've discovered with you.

Many people long to be able to draw, paint and express themselves through art and yet somehow we just never get round to it, there's never the ideal time, we're not sure we can do it anyway and we're not sure where and how to get started!

I want to show you the amazing difference painting, drawing and Art can make in your life.

I gave up on drawing as a child simply because I believed I wasn't talented enough. At 23 years of age, whilst suffering with chronic Fatigue Syndrome I stumbled upon the secrets of being able to draw. It was whilst my logic brain had fatigued and my creative brain was awakened that I discovered some fascinating insight into the act of drawing. To be able to draw and paint very realistically, we have to access four natural gifts in a totally unique way. These are four major comparison skills that most of us are born with and are already using on a daily basis.

Once I discovered this amazing information and began painting realistically like never before, I wanted to tell everyone else about it. Since that time I have dedicated my life to researching and investigating the way that we learn to draw, through my own personal art journey as well as helping literally hundreds of other adults and children to also learn to draw and paint. I have discovered how much happiness and peace drawing and painting can bring into our lives so my life purpose is to share my knowledge of art with as many people as I possibly can.

Over the years I have been limited to teaching my students in live tuition programs, but now through my book and internet correspondence course I can help you too!

Is "Paint In Your Pyjamas!" for you?

"Paint In Your Pyjamas!" is a book and an internet correspondence art course specially created for Women who want to get started with learning how to draw, paint and express themselves through art.

"Paint In Your Pyjamas!"  is ideal for you if:

  • You want to learn how to draw and paint but don't know where to start.
  • You want more than just a bland emotionless "how to draw and paint" book.
  • You want to get started quickly, with exercises that get straight to the point and show you the basics.
  • Your are a complete beginner or unconfident of your skills.
  • You want to know the stuff that other books just gloss over and already expect you to know.
  • You lead a busy life and you really need to find some time for yourself.

Is this book and course really just for Women?

This book and course is created through my unique (womanly) perspective, however, men should not feel left out. There are plenty of men out there who love this book, attend my courses and have used them successfully to start their journey with art.

In a nutshell, what will you learn?

In the book...
I have included all the things that I wished I knew when I started out fifteen years ago into one compact volume. The information contained in my book is straight to the point, there are easy to follow exercises that will show you that you can indeed draw and paint and that the process can be broken down into small logical steps.

On the course...
The course expands upon the contents of the book, and takes you further, with structured exercises and projects, which I personally guide you through by internet correspondence.

Whats in the book?
Often drawing and painting books miss out the useful tips that I include in "Paint In Your Pyjamas!", but I'll show you what you really need to know to get started, such as...

  • What materials you need to get started with drawing and painting on a budget (you don't need to spend very much at all!).
  • How to set up your painting and drawing area, and get it organised so painting and drawing is easy and a real joy.
  • A special way to hold your pencil for drawing
  • The four natural gifts you already have that can be refined for learning to draw.
  • Three traditional art skills that have been handed down to us by the masters of Art including:
    • How to use the grid method
    • Basic shapes and construction drawing
    • Shading with a value scale
  • Which paint brushes you need to get started.
  • How to hold your paint brushes properly.
  • How to mix your paint.
  • How to load your paint brushes with paint correctly.
  • How to care for your brushes properly (and save yourself money).
  • How to mix your own unique 'soul colours'.
  • How to use a colour wheel and a colour swatch.
  • My special three simple techniques for mixing just about any colour you can imagine quickly and easily, without having to buy lots of expensive different coloured tubes of paint.

By the end of this book you will be able to paint a beautiful picture like this, feathers and all, even if you are a complete beginner.

What else will you discover?

  • How to become inspired by nature, by reawakening your 'inner jungle girl'.
  • How five other Women have changed their lives for the better by beginning a journey of self discovery through art.
  • The "Paint In Your Pyjamas principles" which I have personally used to help me change my own life forever through art.
  • How to overcome your 'Artability Phobia' to help you reach your full potential with drawing and painting.
  • How to act upon your intuition, overcome procrastination, and just show up at the table to draw and paint.
  • How to be creative with your time management so you can find more "Pyjama Time" so you can draw and paint, in the middle of your busy lifestyle.
  • The power of your "Little Pink Notebook" for setting goals and getting things done so you have more time for drawing and painting.
  • How to continue learning how to draw and paint further, either by self tuition, with an art coach or by a correspondence course.

What else will I share with you?

  • I will tell you my own personal autobiographical story of how I changed my life from being a busy, overworked mum who almost died (and had a near death experience) by trying to be all things to all people, to becoming a leading Gallery represented Artist & Art Coach following my dream and personally helping hundreds of people start their own journey's of self discovery through Art.

Can I find out more about the course?
